Outdoor fun and adventure

Kayak the serene waters where moose come for breakfast. Look out over the forest trails where bears come to play.  Turn halfway through a snowshoe walk to see only your group’s tracks in the distance. Try surfing - on the east or west coast.  Or test your endurance in -40 degree weather on a snowmobile in the frozen north. Horseback through a prairie wheatfield. Kayak alongside beluga whales and sky-high icebergs. Feel the cold of a “bergy bit” in your hand.

Whatever the season Canada offers opportunities to make the most of everything from rugged terrain to raging rivers to   rainforests. Enjoy a multiple personality destination that changes with the seasons. Ski on the paths of Olympians at Whistler this winter and then return in the summer to try it by ATV or mountain bike. Paddle the Rideau on a heritage route ripe with history or skate it from tip to tail. Don’t stop until you’re out of breath. Give the water-cooler crowd at the office a whole new story to talk about.
